| The clerk is right though, he would loose money by the time he had to roll them up and take them to the bank. If the pennies were rolled, I'd be outraged if he didnt take them...I wonder if you could file some kind of lawsuit. |

| All US coins and bills are considered legal tender. Coins only have to be taken by creditors, but not by merchants because they are not creditors. It is funny what was done, but not sure how the hidden cameras were set up. I agree with all the merchants on the videos. I personally would not give a merchant large amounts of pennies without rolling them. |

I'm some of both. if they were rolled, I'd be mad the merchant didnt take them. If they were in a bag, I understand why he wouldnt take them. I'd never try to bring in a bag of pennies and unload them on someone...I will rolls though |

The prankster is a JERK. He deserves to be kicked out on his butt.
These are just small mom & pop places that don't have the time to count and roll.
Now if one of these places cheated me or had a crappy attitude it might be a different story.
