A friend at work showed me a quarter the other day and asked me it's value. It has a normal face and when I flipped it over the back was all copper with the normal back of a quarter. I researched a little and found that sometimes this happened as a mint error where they never plated the back properly. Anyone able to shed some light on this for me? If he is willing to sell and someone thinks they might be interested I will post a photo. Thanks for any help.

Post an image 99% chance it was messed with after minting.

When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.

Unfortuately true. Many, many kids are having fun melting layers of clad coins and then spending them.
