I really am not sure whether my suggestion would go here but... I believe we should have a feedback thread for members who participate in the buy sell trade forum! I know most people are honest but there are some who have to ruin it for everyone. If it saved one person from being ripped off then it'd be worth it. I think it should be made a sticky. Comments?

You could always just leave a comment at the end of the thread where it was advertised and then announced as sold....then there would be some record if people want to go back and check.
I do like misteroman's suggestion as well. |

how could it be proven that someone screwed each other over? Both sides should be made public imo. |

I do like misteroman's suggestion as well.
After a while though(a few days) the threads would be lowered(onto the next page and finally deleted a little while after that), and the record of how well it was conducted would be lost. |

On the other coin forum I use I put the names of people I've had good trades with in my signature. I'll do the same here once I get a deal done. |

That is a good idea. I have been ripped off more than once...and I also have avoided being ripped off my looking at feedback forums on other sites. What about the person that gets ripped off but is not a huge poster? It would not be hard to do to make a sticky, less than 5 minutes actually. I used to run a forum. It would make the buy sell trade forum a better place. |

For some of us, that would be a long list. I just offer references if someone needs it. Do whatever works best for you. I don't think we really need a feedback thread as this site was never designed to be a "sales" site.

p.s. Just so you know, I have done many deals on here with zero problems. |

The Buy, Sell, Trade froums are for private transactions between members. Realcent forums are not involved in any way and we really don't want to get involved in negative feedback reports since they may involve slander against a member. Realcent is not ebay. Realcent doesn't make a penny from such transactions. The Buy, Sell, Trade forums are there only as a service to its membership. Use at your own risk, and I suggest that you don't get involved in any transaction that you can't afford or live with if it should happen to go sour. |

Just joking. I can see how the some mods think this would be a good idea and I'll accept that, because I never thought about how that could cause slander and it may even be against forumco's rules. |

I think Hoard is smart enough not to hoard zincs...plus, coppers are heavier and can crush miscreants more easily. |

*Not all that smart*
I am distracted by shiny objects.. hence I have several boxes of shiny zinc pennies laying around. Then there is the zinc I have sorted out and not dumped at the bank yet.. and lastly, there is the zinc that is still mixed in with the copper in my unsorted boxes. So there is more than enough zinc on hand to squish things without contaminating my copper hoard. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |

You'd still be dropping about 2000 pounds on that poor guy. |

I like the idea of a feedback thread. Each person can post one message (that they update as required) with the list of other people they have done successful deals with, and any that they have had issues with (I hope none). The opinions expressed are those of the poster alone, so there should be liable issues. |
