What is everyone's best coin based on rarity/value? Mine are a 1875 CC Rev. 2 Trade Dollar in VF worth about $300 and a 1928 Peace Dollar in VF-EF worth about $480.
How about everyone else?

1912-s liberty nickel(mintmark on back side lower left) is one of the keys to that series.
as far as rarity and value i would say a MS graded barber half. |

| Worth the most, and the rarest 1982-S Au-58 Morgan dollar graded by Pcgs, and the best part, i bought it as a slider at a coin shop when i was on vacation. There was a HUGE bucket of slider Morgans at this coin shop, and the guy said this women came it with a bag of them, and he doesnt have time to look through them, so i did, and they were all in Au to Ms condition, and i found a 1982-S and i put a few other common dates around it and bought them for $25 each, and sent the 1992-S to pcgs and it was Au-58. :) |

Here is mine. Canadian $20 cent piece they really only minted these one year. So it is easy to get the whole collection. LOL
This one is worth about $200.

| I collect mainly original bank rolls so I'll have to say my #1 is 1942-s unopened original bank roll (lincoln pennies) that can run right around the 600.00 mark. |

Very interesting choice of hobby. I've never seen an unopened roll of any older coin of all the same date/mint. I have rolls of certain state quarters, but that's about all. |

| For me that is easy. The 1943 Steel Cent. I have about 30 rolls of them. Way, way back when I was a kid my Dad came home with a new, shinny, Silvery colored pennie. That started me on coin collecting. That was back in 1943. My Dad is gone now but I still have all the 1943 cents he gave me. No other coin could be as valuable to me as those. No price could be put on my Dad's memory. |

Mine is by far a 1999 wide AM Lincoln Cent graded MS65 by ANACS, worth about $500. Best part is I bought it for $.o1 in a penny roll . |

From a bag of unsearched wheats I pulled an XF/AU 1909 VDB cent. I don't actively collect U.S. coins and had never seen one before. I saw the 1909 date and wondered if it was a VDB. Almost never found the dang initials. Those letters are tiny! Well, I say XF -- that was my coin guy's assessment. It is pretty shiny.
I also found this weird 1966 penny that does not have any copper on it. I looked up a few things about it on the internet. There are a lot of fake ones out there that scammers have burned the copper off of with acid. I think this one might be real. There aren't any pits and I found it in the "wild".

Ant-- Unopened original bank rolls are/can be extremely hard to locate (depending on the year/mint). The key is finding one that is actually unopened as the seller claims. I made the mistake early on by thinking that just because the paper looks old and the ends are crimped it is original. Most of the time it is a re-wrap. I have every roll from 1940-present in "Original Bank Wrap Unopened rolls" or so I believe you can never be too certain unless you can verify the source!! |

I'll find one eventually, Im really not too worried about getting one anytime soon. I was going to just wait until one crossed my path. I acctually got the set from my neighbor for my graduation from highschool. It was just missing a few of the 40s, and since then I have found all but that one. Thanks for the thought.
