Recently I purchased a copy of Coins Magazine, due to the fact it has images of what the different grades of US coins look like. The pictures of the coins are much more helpful than a verbal description of what the coins look like as are listed in some coin price guides.

I know many forum members have little interest in grading their coins, but I thought that it would be unfair to neglect the forum members that are curious as to what their coins are, grade wise.

I scanned the images of the coins onto my computer, and I tried and tried, but I could not paste the images of what different graded coins look like from Coins Magazine

If you are interested, You can pick up a copy of Coins Magazine from Barnes and Noble for $4.99, with the understanding that you are buying reference material concerning different grades of coins, not just a magazine to look at for a week or so and then toss out.

Caveat! Just make sure that the images of the different graded coins ARE in the issue you buy, I don't know if they list the images in each issue.

Pennies and Nickels, especially the buffalo nickel are listed image wise and grade wise, which is why I put it in the penny forum.

I looked around and found this coin site and they feature a visual image
of what they are offering. They list Fine coins, Extremely Fine coins, etc.

for Nickels

This is helpful if you are trying to figure out what the grade of your coins are, and possibly a new source for coins.
