I am getting someones huge zinc dumps here in Colorado because my 20 box order today contained 19 boxes of mixed duds. 19 BOXES OF PURE ZINC! I would love to see a map of how this money moves around so I could tell who's dumps I'm getting. This really sucks!

That hurts!

I know that Ryedale sales are going strong these days, so there are more people out there doing what we are, and most of them don't post here.

Mixed duds are the worst, at least with the new zincs it's easy to look at the boxes and see every single roll is shiny. That's a give-away.

But if there are old pennies showing through the only thing you can do is weigh the box. For me a pure box of zinc weighs in at 14.2 lbs. Most of my mixed boxes are 14.8 or so.

Methinks there's someone in your area doing some secret sorting :(

There must be. I'm 120 miles op in a little mountain town but it all comes from Denver. Andy said he had only sold 3 in Colorado plus mine. One is in another little town 100 miles south of me, 2 are in the Denver area.

All my boxes weighed 14lbs 1oz except 1. It was 14Lb 10oz, 20% as usual. Guess I just need to do more drive byes and catch them before they go to Denver.

It hurts when that happens. Maybe you have created a local penny shortage and Jackson Metals is shipping them in to cover the shortage.

Were these Brinks wrapped rolls?

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.
