No. There is no reliable way to get coins into a premade tube, and building a tube around a stack takes machinery. So the nice ones are expensive and the cheap ones are unreliable. I know - I spent ten hours searching google for "coin wrapping machines", 400 pages of links. The cheapest good machine is $7,800 and it costs $1,500 for a machine that only counts the coins and leaves the wrapping for you to do.

A penny sorted is a penny earned!

Please use tinyurl.com to post links. Long links make posts hard to read.

Check out the Royal Sovereign Fast Sort FS-4D - I have one and it does the trick for about $100.

You can get a Royal Sovereign with only 2 or 3 rows rather than 4 even cheaper. It will drop the coins right into one of those cartridge rolls. It will also count out a batch of 50 into a plastic tube and then stop. Then you just wrap that batch in a flat wrapper or in one of the used wrappers that you got your pennies in. This is much cheaper than the cartridge rolls which are crimped on one end.

It is actually pretty cheap to wrap the pennies with an automatic wrapping machine once you have one.. but the machines are kind of pricey. You get an 8 inch roll of paper which is 1000 feet long and will wrap 2000 rolls.. very convenient.

You can shop for a good price on a Royal Sovereign on eBay.. there are always lots of them on there.

Usually it is better to get a decent coin counter if you can find one of your banks that will take them by the bag.. much better than rolling.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

I've been turning my zinc slugs back into a nearby Bank of America branch. Previously I've always hand-wrapped them in paper rolls, but this past week the lady behind the counter said they no longer accept them in rolls. Instead, they now want them loose, and dump them all in a large B of A baggie. From there they go either to Lubbock or Amarillo to be officially counted, rolled, and the proceeds credited to my account.

It sounds like he wants to wrap the coppers.

Check locally for a royal sovereign before buying one on ebay. My sams has them cheaper than ebay, but not all sams's stores have them.
