Someones collection was in a $50 bag,

Indians 1887, 1900, 1903 IH pennies. Sneaky little guys were trying to hide in the zinc. Oh Well, I got em. I re-ran my zinc once more to be sure, thats where the 1887 was. The other two were split between the zinc and copper on a High Sensitivity zinc pass. I've yet to try the IH standard test.

Also got a couple pounds of wheats, including two bright 1943 steel pennies. Love it.

Nice.

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Congratulations, though! Were they in nice shape?

Not a great pic, but they seem to be in pretty good cond.
The other two coins are a 1932 George V penny from Canada,
and an 1878 Netherlands One Cent.

I really like the Indian Head standard.
I left the machine on your stock setting, and it puts all the zinc in the accept and everything else in the reject.
I have missed one wheat (a very worn 1919-p), that I know of since the switch. I still have yet to find an Indian Head.

Well if anyone deserves to hit the motherload it's you Andy.

Great find, and I'm glad you made some time to do some sorting for a change.

At the rate you're selling the Ryedales, there won't be any copper left by the end of this decade :)

Looks like you still can see at least one diamond on the ribbon on Liberty's neck on the 1903. Good finds all.

I found my second indian today. 1905.

I can (and did) thank my wife. She took pity on me and stopped at a bank and told me to get out and get some pennies.

The reason pity was needed was my source bank accidentally ordered new dollar coins instead of my halves. I was only going to get $10 worth, but when they started to open a full brick I said I would take it all. I'm glad that I did. It was in the bottom of the box.

This makes two for me since I began the sorting in the last week of Jan. I have probably gone through $1000 total.

Wow!
Nice bag.
I have never found a steel cent in a bag or a box.
I catch the steel in reject trays every once in a while.

Beer is my currency.
