I know this is for cents but while bank hopping for customer rolled cents I also ask for BIG dollars. This is what I found from one of my local banks.

Pretty sweet! I find Ikes sometimes, but I've yet to get a silver dollar. I did manage a 90% Kennedy awhile back though.
Are you throwing that out?

few months back got 1,560 Ikes on a trip to the bank once

Yep, only one this time.
Last year, at a different bank, a teller had a baggy of BIG dollars. Got the usual IKES and a Morgan dollar and a beat up silver round.

Wow nice...I just emailed my source at the bank this morning asking if she could get me any rolls/boxes of Ikes. I'll let you guys know tomorrow.

Good luck. Also ask around for bags. I once called my local armored carrier and asked. They had one and a half bags of big dollars. They let me come by and buy them at face value plus a per bag fee of $4 (I think)
