I put 120 lbs. and store them in those buckets. You can't lift them without the handle tearing out.
Even with 120 lbs. in them there is still plenty of room for another 30 or more lbs.
Ask your bank for bags and return them with $50 in them which is standard.

150 sounds about right. I always just bag my zinc and take it in that way.. much more convenient.. and no risk of spillage.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

I have three banks in my town that have coin counters (in the back, not for the public) and I take my zincs in in ice cream pails- about 20-30 lbs. at a time. The tellers are pretty nice about it so far- I guess they ought to be, since they don't take rolled coins. I also have one bank that has a lobby machine. I'm able to spread my zinc dumps around 3-4 banks right in town, which is nice.

If your bank/a bank doesn't have a lobby counter, always ask if they have a counter in the back.

One branch of my bank said that they will take them loose, count them and credit my account. I have not gotten back ut that way yet. I figured that I would weigh out about $50 per bag. They said that they did not care what I brought them in, so long as they could get them out easily.
