I think lead will the the main bartering metal at first in the situation everyone is talking about....Lawlessness would take over. Survivors would have to pick up the pieces. Think about it.

I agree,I like the dimes best of all as they would be the easiest to trade with.10 dimes = 4 quarters= 1 morgan and so forth and weigh the same amount but would be easier to make deals with.Maybe we all should go to the local gander mountain or walmart and buy shells and stuff with cash as there would be no record of it at all.
Buying CU cents!!!! Paying 1.2 unlimited amounts wanted. Can pick up if near Ohio area.
