Does anyone remember the Saturday Night Live fake commercial for The Change Bank? It must have been early 90's. It was pretty funny at the time, but it takes on a whole new meaning in light of penny/ coin hoarding. The ad showed customers and tellers speaking directly into the camera, interview-style. I remember the one teller, Kevin Nealon, who was saying something like, "If you have ten dollars and want a thousand pennies, we can do that. Or 100 dimes. Or 200 nickels. Or, 10 quarters, 20 dimes, 100 nickels, and 50 pennies. Whatever you want- it's your call." (I don't remember the actual numbers, but you get the idea)
OK- I looked on youtube. I couldn't find the original SNL clip, but here's a pretty close copy of the original skit from some youth group:
