I know of a couple here that do, but most dont. I havent taken a stab at it in awhile but will try so here:

HoardCode0.1:M38/1USWI:US1Cu14549:US10Ag885:US25Ag459:US50Ag353:US100Ag181

I have some US1Zi and US5Ni but no clue how many of each as they are headed back to the bank to free up capital.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

Looks great! Almost 3 bags of copper.. and lots of silver. One of these days I have to do a count and add in the PM's to my hoardcode.

Now just copy it to your signature line in your profile and just update it as your hoard grows.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Someday maybe I'll take the time to count what I have.

For now I'm going to concentrate on sorting as much as I can and not worry about the details.

Get while the getting is good is my motto.

I keep a spreadsheet for how much bulk I have gotten/returned. It gives me a rough estimation of what I've kept, which at the moment is good enough for me.

I keep a spreadsheet too. It automatically calculates totals up each day's coppers and calculates the copper percentage. Interesting to see how the sorting percentages slip slightly over time.

Really easy to transfer the data from the spreadsheet to the hoardcode in my profile.

Same here...I use a spreadsheet for just about everything. I cant help it...lol. I started out with half dollar roll hunting and figured it would be cool to keep track of how many coins I searched, what percent were 90% silver, 40% silver, and NIFC (not intended for circulation - only released in mint sets). I added new worksheets for pennies and nickels too, and all I have to update is the daily spot prices for copper and zinc and it tells me the approximate melt value of my stash. I also use to help me keep track of where I obtained coin boxes and where I dumped them so that I dont accidentally cross the two.

Also, I have one set up for my coin collecting habit that details a few things and also subtotals in the amount of silver I have. All I have to do is enter the current silver spot and it tells me the melt value of what I have.

Oh and I have updated my hoard code after doing an audit this past weekend:

HoardCode0.1:M38/1USWI:US1Cu16144:US10Ag830:US25Ag447:US50Ag387:US100Ag235

I see some people include Canadian copper cents and Canadian nickels into their equation so I will try to get those figures.

Thanks man...probably more than I really need but it's part of trying to balance a portfolio for the future (some copper, some silver, some gold, some in savings, some in 401K and I plan to open a Roth IRA soon).
