There are only a few "named days" in the history of the markets.

There's October 29th, 1929
Is it just that 29 and 29 rhyme?

There's "Black Friday" also in October, but in 1987.

Today was not a good day, no matter how you look at it.

Today was a "leap day" or a Feb. 29th.

The markets sure took a leap,
both the Stock Markets and the Currency Markets fell over in a very noticable, but not quite massive way.

I guess my question is,
"Will this day be remembered by name?"

Peace and Love!

The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.
John Maynard Keynes,
English economist (1883 - 1946)
