Any tips on the value of saving the smallish satellite dish and receiver from direct tv?

Is there a secondary market for them (also have the box that hooks to the tv and a ton of cable)?

If not, is it worth to save for scrap?
Life is more than getting from point A to point B.

I have gotten several of them and just scrapped them as regular steel. I have not heard of any secondary markets for them recently. One person I picked up a couple of dozen from a while back said he collected them and took them to Mexico as they bought them and used them to pirate the signal, but he said that market dried up so he let me have them for scrap.
