Somebody is probably in trouble. Yesterday I opened up a CWR and Indian Heads spilled out all over!! 36 Indian Heads in one roll!!!
1-1908, 10-1907, 3-1906,3-1905, 1-1901, 2-1900, 4-1899, 4-1896, 2-1893, 4-1890, 1-1889, and 1 1883.

Crazy thing is the roll did not look overly old and I don't think the rest of the pennies in the roll were even all copper and there were no wheats in the roll.

Or dead. Or missing their collection. Or.... Either way, you win. Nice score.

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

That's awesome. I've only been hand sorting for about a year and have yet to score an Indian Head. Oh well, keep sorting- maybe someday. I'd definitely go back and get all the rolls I could.

Very nice! We've all heard of major silver and copper and Wheat scores, but I think this is the first time I've heard of a huge stash of Indian Heads.

WOW! I think everybody here has dreams about that...at least I have....multiple times. Go back to that bank and get all their CWR in all denominations, you could hit the jackpot with other things too.

Selling rolls of ultra-rare 1956-1958 wheat pennies for a mere $5 shipped.

Well, he said there weren't any other wheats, and they weren't even all copper, but I was just curious... whether maybe there were errors, or what.

Nice score! I think this trend is starting to become more likely. People are either ignorant about coins, or their hurting for cash. One of my tellers that I visit several times a week told me that she got 2 solid rolls of 1943 steel pennies in the other day. And recalling last month, I scored a solid silver roll of Canadian quarters from the same branch.

I'll echo what the others have said, buy out those CWRs!

Ok, I admit it - I'm jealous. I've hand sorted my way up to almost $1,000 in copper and haven't found one yet.
