I just wanted to publicly thank metalmoney.ca for his winning bid of 200 Canadian 80% quarters and 36 US 90% quarters. I got the coins in my hands today, when spot was $19.58.
The coins' spot value today was $714.84.

It's cool Nickelmeister, I know he means no offence.
I needed the cash because the girlfriend and I just bought a car, and wanted it in tip-top shape. And since I'm "all in all the time" I had to let go of a piece of my hoard.
seeing that reverse auction right when I needed to, and for the amount that I needed was kind of nice. and it shows how creative our forum can be. |

Actually I spoke with a coin shop two days ago and they only offered 8x face for the 200 CA quarters. $400.
Nobody got jacked. I intend to buy & hold, so I was happy, regardless.
