So last week i added to the skunk record. Searched 7 boxes with nothing. At least these boxes are packaged much better than the ones i was getting up to about 3 weeks prior.
Anyways i think i've been skunked on over 15k in boxes at this point.
So on to the humor:
While at one bank with a coin machine, I noticed 3 steel pennies stuck to the magnet at the top of the machine. Thought nice bonus for a skunk return...Returned $1480 to one bank that has a coin machine. It was going along fine, but started saying i was off in my count. The end number came out to 1479... If i were finding silver i'd probably over look it.
Then stopped at another bank that had asked me to speak with the manager before returning more halves. They told me that i can either return 1 to 2 hundred max a day or any amount as long as it comes in the BoA bank bags. Which they then said would cost $1.20 per bag. Again not really a big deal, $1.20 per $1k returned, if you are finding silver. Anyways they were kind enough to accept my $1k this time and for future returns i would need to provide the BoA bank bag, pay the fee, or return less coin per day.
Like i said a little humore around finding skunk boxes.

| I have a very accurate coin counter I use that has magnets in it. I always enjoy picking the foreigns off the magnets every time I go dump. Have found quite the collection of them. |

If what Highroller says is true... that halves come on flats of $50,000... then you can console yourself with this: the other searchers in your area are getting zilch too. You guys are all searching and re-searching the same coins. Only if some little old person dumps new minnows in the pool can the piranhas go into frenzy  |

$50,000 flats. Now that would be an amazing weekly search. If i had that amount of cash to float, I still think i'd never find enough banks to return the coins too.
I'd need about 20 banks at least that would be awesome. |
