even though he says in the description, "ships to u.s. and canada", i get this message when i try and buy:
"This seller has set buyer requirements for this item and only sells to buyers who meet those requirements.

Having bought other item listings from this seller in the past, I'm on his email list. So I'll keep my eyes open and if he keeps doing this I'll keep reminding forum members. Hope he's got enough dimes for all of us  Let's create our own silver scarcity!  |

IF this is Mike's Coin aka saratoga coin,
I did it this time. I've done it once before from another guy.
But a word of warning for the above mentioned name: he runs email specials and on one occasion when the price of silver jumped, my dad bought maybe 10 rolls of Franklins for him at this special price ($11 or $12 x face).
The guy didn't deliver, he waited a while then just said sorry and sent a refund. Which was to my father, and in my opinion a very low blow since it was a legitimate low price special that he just didn't want to follow through with. Why look for good deals if the other person can just renig when it doesn't suit them anymore. I believe my dad also bought a roll or two of AU peace dollars that turned out to be very low quality for an AU designation. |

| It is Mike's Coins... and I had problems as well when I ordered 100 BU peace dollars from him, took about seven weeks and by then I had entered arbitration. Even though the shipment eventually arrived, I sent it back unopened and got the transaction cancelled. He gave me some song and dance at the time about having a medical emergency, but I could see from feedback that he was constantly sending out other items. I think he changed his ebay name after that and is now attempting to build a good reputation for his new name with these promotions. I don't see any harm with hitting him for the low priced dimes as often as he wants to run it, but buyer beware for more than that. I decided to take another chance with him on the halves, we'll have to see what happens. |

| This guy has had at least 10 different ebay profiles that I am aware of in the past 10 years! All of them have had extremly low feedback scores. It seems when one of them gets below a certain score, he just makes another id and moves on, abandoning the other till the year is up so that the negs dont show up anymore. Its seems a shame that he spends so much time comeing up with nice deals to up his feedback scores rather than to just take good care of his customers. He has accually given away coins in the past with free shipping... if he can send them out fast ect to build up his feedback, why cant he just keep up with the legit orders that would actually make him his money? anyway, I too have always done his freebies and near freebies, but, I would never order anything of value from him as there are always always always, way too many negs and neutrals for me to take the chance... |

Hey, just an update:
I got my dime, but not just one dime, I got TWO silver dimes for $1.
Not sure why he sent two, but I'm not complaining!
So definetly a good experience on this instance!!
But that doesn't mean I'm going to go out and buy from his 'specials' |
