1919 from the TAP/GAP tray at the Arco gas station today.
I asked the cashier if he'd look in the till for any more Wheat Pennies. He just gave me a brusk, "There aren't any.", without looking. He acted like I was asking him to cut off his little finger with such a selfish request.
Oh well, at least I got a good looking 1919, nice full wheat ears and uniform color with no spots. |

It seems to be either feast or famine for me with finding the Pre-40 Wheats. Found one just the other day that I reported. Now I find another one that qualifies for the tracking thread.
Late yesterday I found a 1937. Not in great shape at all but it qualifies for posting purposes.
Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. |

I was so worried the Ryedale would cut down on my Wheat finds. It's done just the opposite. 57 over the weekend, and one of them being a very nice looking 1931 D. |

$25 Brink's Box
1913 - Nice chocolate color G coin that has seen some honest wear over the 97 years it took to find me.
Got a total of 27 wheats from this box. |
