$1100, wouldn't it be cheaper to just throw some silver dollars into the washer?

I considered buy one of those. They only have about an ounce of silver in them. I believe the scrape a tiny amount off and ionize it so it is more reactive than just putting coins in. It is only $100 more than their next highest end washer so you pay $80 for the convenience.
I have considered tossing some coins in the wash but I don't know how many I'd need to have an impact.
Hey! This is a new twist on a very old idea! Silver has been used for centuries as a microbial. A few silver dollars in the wooden water barrel saved many lives. 90% dimes in canteens does the same.
$1,100.00??!! Wow! P.T. Barnum said it best: "There is a sucker born every minute."
The real good news is here is one more industrial use of silver to drive up the price!
