Does this look odd to anyone else that someone would be offering bulk copper scrap at about half of melt value?

I'd like to think I've stumbled across a massive bargain, but it just doesn't pass the smell test. Anyone else think this looks suspicious?

Looks like he sells packing products mostly. I think it is just copper in color. It is titled, "50 lbs. Copper VeryFine Cut Decorative Paper Shred." To me that means 50 lbs. of paper that looks copper in color. Looks like paper to me. Look at his other auctions at bottom of his page. Same material but in silver, black, etc. Buy it if you need copper color packing material, not if you want metal. Just my thoughts. If you buy, good luck....

Deal

p.s. I do not think he is trying to pass it as metal, just a misunderstanding. Contact him.

Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

It isn't metal. It's a decorative product. No smell test necessary.

See the 'tm' for trademark in the description?
