so Goldline is apparently under investigations.
But here is the comment of one 'victim':
When Joe Kismartin took his Goldline coins to a local coin shop, he was told his $5,000 purchase was worth just over $2,900, a loss of $2,100. "You know, I'm living month to month," said Kismartin. "That's a big loss." (ABC News)
IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE LIVING MONTH TO MONTH, YOU DON'T NEED TO BE BUYING PM's.
And just because the local coin shop would only pay $2900 does not mean that that is all his coins are worth.
But the allegations against goldline should be noted so that you don't get pressured into buying something you don't want.

No actual article with documented claims of any sort. Just speculation and innuendo attempting to discredit, made by what appears to be extremely unknowledable investors. Thrown into the limelight by The Big Media!
I am not a follower of any or the purported spokes people nor have I done any business with Goldline.
Buyer Beware, means do some homework!
The whole article seems "fishy". |

It seems like this article is intended to blast the pitchmen.
The coins vs bullion argument is delivered from an ignorant point of view.
Example: If I buy a common date Morgan for 20-22 dollars, is that a rip-off?, is it criminal or just full pop retail.
I'll sell Morgans for 20-22 and not feel like a criminal. They sell for that on e-bay quite often.
The silver content is about 12-13 bucks and a dealer would not offer much more than that.
I can easily see this situation result in legislation the totally screws coin dealers with new regulation.

| I can't watch the video from work... but it seems somewhat as if those attacking Goldline are trying to inadvertently smear Glenn Beck by association. Maybe that was their intent? I'm not defending Goldline's bait and switch tactics, nor their high pricing of foreign fractionals. If someone tries to high pressure me I just hang up. |

Heck, hasn't like most of the Male leads from Law and Order hawked PM's at one point or another? |

Then Goldline pops up, with their BS sales pitch, then all the negative press from personal buyers. Even if you're a new buyer, a company should be honest no matter what. That's why some hate the free market. They more about profits, then truly satisfying their customer base. =D |

| I don't see any reason to blame the free market system itself for this (not saying you are). After all, the free market includes a free press that exposes this kind of stuff to the public that should make even Goldline supporters think twice before buying again. If people choose to buy over-priced PM's when they could get a better deal elsewhere if only they did their DD, that is ignorance, not a failure of capitalism itself. |

| If Goldline was legit to their customers then they couldn't afford the airtime on Beck's show. It's obvious. Not a big fan of him but he has made me laugh a couple of times. |

1. We all have stories to tell about our first time experiences. Learning about spot and "refinment" and sales and merchandising and all the spin to take you out when you need to sell. I have no doubt that selling what ever he bought to a dealer would be at a lose.
2. Anyone that deals with "TV" companies...probably voted for Obama.
3. There is nothing in the post to tell me what happened? What was bought for $5000 and why it is supposedly worth half? No supporting documentation or link to follow just "apparently".
4. The left wingers will not lose any chance to hurt Beck or the Fox network. I would lean toward this as an explanation for the claim.

I noticed in this vid that a guy claims that the government "never" confiscated gold from the public. FDR did in 1933...so there is definitely a smear going on for probably many reasons.

I look at most consperacy and smears as entertainment. I enjoy resurching and following all the faults trails and slander. But as far as Beck goes...I think he is doing a pretty good job and he makes me laugh. To me he is well worth the time to watch. BUT...I really do hate those goldline commercials!!! Thank God for my tevo!

| Well it seems that anyone that shows some love for this country is obviously guilty. If mr.Beck were selling or promoting eggs they would investigate him. Just remember it could be you next. |
