I have been lurking around here for a few months now, and today is the first time I had something to post.
I have been hoarding nickels for some time now, I started when they had a melt value of 8 cents. I just save every nickel that I see and I use other change to sort of "force" a nickel on most transactions. I also buy $10-$20 dollars worth whenever I stop at a bank. I also sort out my copper pennies, but I have never sorted the nickels.
After lurking for some 3-4 months I have started searching my nickels and after searching about $50-$55 I have found 2 buffs (1936 and a dateless) and 3 war nickels. I somehow don't think I will be able to keep up this success record.
Anyway I would like to thank everybody who contributes here I always enjoy the online comradery.

| Nice finds! When I started searching nickels a month ago, I was finding a buffalo every $300 - but since finding 3 buffalos, I haven't found any more. I also find about 1 war nickel in every $100. |
