Here is an awesome craigslist deal that i just was offered.
7 dateless buffalo nickels and Wheat pennies (46, 51, 56, 34, 45, 48, 57, 44, 41, and 56).
Firm $20
They were worth this much because they are also in mylar flips... Does this make anysense? I neglected to ask if the wheat pennies were BU red, but i didn't really care after hearing the buf's were dateless and the pennies were commons.
Reality check, I was kindof yelled at when I mentioned his asking price is unrealistically high.

Maybe they are first generation 'rattler' mylar flips. It is not uncommon for coins in these flips to grade up one or two grades higher.
So these COULD ACTUALLY grade up to Partial Date, or EVEN FULL DATE if placed in modern mylar flips!!! |
