I picked up my 1k order today and am going through my 2nd box; I found my 1st Walking Liberty half in the wild.
A 1935. It was at the top of a roll showing its obverse.
I know others have found more but it is exciting to find a half dollar that old in a box.

Nice find. I've only found one and it has a giant "X" carved on the obverse. Bummer. Keep up the searches.

Live free or die. Plain and simple.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |
