Just getting back into sorting... not that I was doing a lot before. But I was wondering how much the average handsorter on this forum does each week. a couple rolls? a box? two boxes? more?

| I had sorted about $50 dollars last night. My back hurts from it and it took for ever. I think having a ryedale, makes me lazy. |

I've only done over a box of pennies searched in a week a couple of times and that was just too much for my body to handle. Usually just $10.00 - $16.00 a week probably on an average--for ease of my search records I sort in increments of 4 rolls of pennies or dimes and five rolls of nickels. I do a few nickels and a few dimes, too, normally in a week.
Although as my circle increases and I meet more hand sorters I am meeting some that do two boxes a week and others that do 1 - 2 boxes a day--by hand.
Me, I'm definitely small time but I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, looking through each roll of coins.

| About $30-$50 per week, depending upon how busy I am. I could do a lot more per week if need be, but I try to keep it fun, as opposed to something I feel obliged to do. Happy sorting everyone! |

| it depends on the time of year...in the winter I do a box per day but when the weather is nice I'm lucky to do a box or two per week. |

I do about 2 boxes of pennies a week and a box of nickels. Somethimes I'll get some customer wrapped rolls too, so between $50 -$70 of pennies.

| I could do $600 a week if I had the time/$$. I probably average $30 a week but have done as much as a few hundred some weeks and as much as $125 dollars in a day. |

| Most I have done was $25 in a day, but thats just a few hours during the night sorting while watching movies. I like to do at least $25 a week, but am trying to get in $50 this week. I can't afford to do much more then that a week. |
