I found one in great condition in a box of half dollars. Anyone know if it's worth anything?

That is an Australian 1942 1 Penny,which is a pre-decimal coin.
Australia changed to decimal currency in February 1966.

| Hey FB, most Aussie large cents have low mintages, but don't get pricey until they hit the higher grades. So its definitely better than a British large cent (higher mintages), but in circulated condition you probably only have your 50 cents worth. |

Yeah, it is a kangaroo, and I call it great condition because there's just some wear on the harilines and on roo's tail. Also a little on the cheek. If it was a US coin it would make an XF easy.
