I got coins from National City (they did Brinks) and then they became part of PNC and all but one branch in town stopped doing coins. And I mean STOPPED. I got "that talk" from the manager. But I still use the PNC branch that does do coins and they do Brinks. Hope that helped.
I've only ever gotten pennies from PNC in eastern PA and they were not brinks; no plastic wrappers. I'm used to getting plastic wrappers from Brinks around here.
My Western PA PNC branches are serviced by Loomis armored cars, all coins are paper wrapped, the boxes with the holes in the bottom. No indication on who wraps them.
PNC used the F word with me... I'll never pay a 'F'ee. If you read their policy statement, it is clear as day on the charges that they can choose to charge for coin (both incoming and outgoing) to your account. Some branch managers are aware, some are not.
Anyone know what type of boxes PNC Bank (eastern PA) gets from Garda??
Brinks....NF String wrapped....????
tia
Grada doesn't wrap there own anywhere in the country so 98% of the time it will be NF strings. The other 2% they might get it from brinks or a local wrapping company.
