Nice! Simple and straight to the point. It gives me hope that more people are finding their voice. If we don't use it we will lose it. I never viewed myself as someone who would get involved with politics,or speak out because I didn't like the atmosphere in which the pols breathe. But I now see it is essential for everyone to speak up or nothing will change. The stranglehold the two party system has enjoyed must be broken. There are more that just two ways to look at things. They constantly block or have new canidates removed from the ballots, not much freedom there. I live in PA and had enough of Spector in the senate,so I switched my voter registration so I could vote for Sestack. Then I found out that Sestack challenged the pettition signatures of Joe Vodvarka and a judge removed him from the ballot! So I could not vote for Sestack and wrote in the name of Vodvarka. From Wiki On April 13, 2010, long-shot senate hopeful Joe Vodvarka, a retired machinist was knocked off the Democratic Party primary ballot after Commonwealth Court Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt ruled in favor of a ballot challenge submitted by U.S. Representative Joe Sestak. Leavitt ruled that Vodvarka's nominating petitions included over 200 invalid signatures and ultimately he did not meet the state's signature requirement. This is the kind of politics that make me scream. So I salute anyone, who like you Cptindy, will help bring about turning the tables over on these fake, scared, lying,no good, spineless sellouts! |
