Being heavy on Ag dimes, I don't usually buy any. Today I picked up some for substantially under melt. I usually pay 10 X face and this was even lower. 7 1/2 X face is what I paid. Does this compare to what anyone else pays? Not sure if it was a one time thing or not. It was only 200 dimes but a deal is a deal, right?

Keep looking for that Ag in pocket change. My dad came over today with a '63 Roosevelt, a '64 Roosevelt, a '42 P war nickel, and a '45 D war nickle. He pulled these from about $150 of mixed change he saved while out of town this last time. He travels out of town for four to six weeks at a time, usually to small towns. Possibly higher Ag content in those towns due to it getting recycled over and over again. Proud to say he learned from me to save and search change. So it does pay. Only $150 in mixed change searched for those results is good in my book. Some don't find that much it a whole year. Keep looking, good luck.

Deal

p.s. My great dad gives me all the pennies. He understands the value, but says he will leave the "Penny Legacy" to me.

I think that is a smokin' deal on silver. I usually have to pay at least 9X.

Keep looking for that elusive Indian head.. I have the feeling you will find one soon.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Yeah, that sounds like a good deal to me.

Bulk silver dimes, half bags ($500) and full bags ($1000) are currently going for 14 cents under spot including shipping. There is 715 ounces of silver in a full bag. So currently bulk dimes are selling for 715 * $14.74 = $10,539 for 10,000 dimes or about $1.05 per dime or about 10.5X face.

7.5X face is steal. I am sure it is way lower than the buy prices of some dealers. Congrats!

When you put it that way, I definitely hope its not a one time deal. Didn't have to spend $10k to get it. Kinda wish it wasn't dimes, but silver is silver.
