In the past week I have found 2 silver coins in the wild, a 1954D dime and a 1942 quarter.
I got the dime a few days ago by checking the coin return of a coinstar, I've read on here to check those often and sure enough, free silver!
Today I was shipping out some packages at the post office and I paid in cash, and when the clerk gave me my change I heard silver clinging around in my hand. Sure enough, a silver quarter.
I've only found silver in the wild three times, once when I was 7 and started collecting, and these two in the past few days. If I was old enough I would try my luck with some lotto tickets because I've been so lucky.

Does coinstar count as wild? That seems more like a hatchery or a silver farm.

That is great but the more important is that you know about SILVER & PM. I have had good luck at the coin club an also at a coin show. door prize of 1962 proof set. good things happen we do need to invest time in helping it along

I guess that might not be completely wild, but I was just happy to get silver at 0X face. |

Good finds. Keep searching, there is plenty of wild silver out there. I pull several coins a year from circulation. I ALWAYS use cash.
