We have just been very lucky so far. I can assure you that there is no skill involved :). We do come up with skunk boxes here and there. About a week ago we got 2 boxes from the same bank we got these from and both were skunks. These last 2 happened to both be very good.
Honestly, we're in the "if it aint broke don't fix it" mindset. We have our orders in place and as long as they keep bearing silver we will keep going.
It's out there! Just keep sorting.

I put a roll up on ebay for giggles...so far no bites. However I just saw 3 auctions end for a roll of these one ended at $12, one at $10 and one at $8.50
We shall see.

$500 BWR Halves It was looking really good when the top half of the box yielded 6 silvers. But the bottom only had 1. 5 40% 2 90% - 1 Kennedy and 1 Franklin
Picked up the first $1000 in halves this week from the bank that called me. You know it is most likely you are getting somebody else's dump when they suddenly have $4k in halves in the vault. Then you see them and note that some of the rolls are Bank rolls that have been opened on the end and resealed. But you gotta take em anyway cause part of the hoard might be from another source. Of course as I was picking those up today one of the other tellers told me she got $750 she is holding for me.
Well, I sorted the first batch tonight $1000 CWR Halves over 100 2002-P and D halves.. some almost nice enough to keep. Too many to count. Heeding the advice of the seasoned half searchers here.. I tossed em back. No silver.. As expected.
At least this week with all these $Thousands of halves.. I should be able to nudge my silver searcher score up slightly.. and meet those darn minimums Country keeps imposing.

Silver dimes found - three -- 1/1946, 1/1956D, and 1/1936--The FIRST Mercury Dime I have found searching rolls!!! 2009 dimes found - seven -- 7/2009P Other found - two -- 1/1988 US Penny that caused a roll to be shorted; 1/2010P Dime--That is the first 2010 Dime I have found either searching rolls or in change!!!
Other stats: Eight rolls shorted 10 cents each roll, One roll shorted twenty cents; Three rolls over 10 cents each roll
