Yesterday while visiting a local theme park where we have had the pleasure of meeting others that visit the park(s) regularly and forming friendships over the past many years, I had one gentleman bring me a coin yesterday as a surprise.
It is a 1920 Buffalo nickel and I think it is in very good condition...my words, not a coin grade.
The date is very legible, as are the words on both sides of the coin. Can almost make out some details on feathers but not quite.
I asked him where he got it and he told me he had received it in change this week. COOL!!! I told him to be on the look out for V nickels now too after the reports of so many on here finding them in their searching lately.
This nice gift to me yesterday helps to temper the disappointment that I am feeling over not being able to attend the upcoming coin show in Jacksonville, Florida in less than a week.
