I listened to about half of this so far, and Bill Murphy comes off sounding like an idiot. Jeff Christian presents himself well, with reasonable verifiable statements, whereas Murphy (GATA) bases biased speculation on contrived half-truths and statements possibly taken out of context. I am disappointed that the debate panned out so poorly, for if I, as a gold bug, am disenchanted with the findings... then how much moreso will it be unbelievable by mainstream investors that the markets could be manipulated? They should have gotten someone like Eric Sprott to debate Christian.  |
