Poll Question:
This contest is up to you. We've gone through quite a few coins and now have it narrowed down to only 3 coins, and a 4th option. Your vote is for the best coin, period. If it is not found below, then you can still vote. The criteria for "the best coin, period" is up to you to decide: appearance, rarity, interest, time period, anecdotes, etc... whatever it is, it's your personal decision as to why it is the best coin. Without further blabbing, the choices are:

COIN 1:

COIN 2:

COIN 3:

OPTION 4:
The best coin is not in this poll

This contest will end Sunday Night, May 16 at 23:59 FORUM TIME. If option 4 has the most votes, then there is no winner, and the best coin is to be decided all on your own... go out there and find it, then tell us all about it

Results:
coin 1, the Alabama commemorative half dollar   [31%] 54 votes
coin 2, the 1989 Freedom commemorative dollar   [37%] 65 votes
coin 3, the 1936 Buffalo nickel   [25%] 44 votes
none of the above is THE best coin, there is no winner   [7%] 13 votes

The Buff has always been a classic. For those old enough to remember, there were no coins more exotic, that could easily trigger the mind to leaps of imagination, than the buffalo nickel during the era in which it circulated. (ok now wolvesdad, pay me )

Hoard now and hold on!

hahahaha...... I am just thrilled that two of my choices made it all the way to the final round!!!

Good thing I got my nominations in early, it's not like no one else would have nominated the Buffalo Nickel!

I definately voted #4. Simply put, I imagine these 10 people believe there was a better coin not voted in for one reason or the other.

167 votes. Pretty good, I hope we can get over 200. I think the more participation there is on stuff like this, the better. Much props to Market Harmony for imagining and creating such a contest.

The reverse of all the coins should have been pictured.
