Found this in a roll of halves. From the edge I thought it would be a Franklin. Does anyone know if it has silver in it? Or is it just a neat looking coin?

Hoard now and hold on!

Rats Kinda hoped it had silver in it... but it didn't pass the "ring" test when dropped, so I kinda figured it wasn't. It sure helps when we have forum members with encyclopedic knowledge of coins!

The words 'De Oro' is actually a reference to gold,as the Spanish word for 'Gold' is 'Oro'.
