Went to Chase to see if they could order me $2000 in halves. They've provided $500 penny orders for me three times in the past. First they tell me there might be a fee. Then they tell me, "no fee, but we can't order them... it's a capacity issue... we don't have the space for them." Then they tell me that they have more halves than they need right now, as someone just brought in $200-300 in rolled halves. I'm starting to salivate as I tell them "I'll take them all." Then they state that they're locked up and I'll have to come back for them another day. Before we decide on that date, they go on to add "yeah, another customer orders halves from another bank and then dumps them here." Grrhh I've discovered someone else's dump branch. Can't order, and about buying those others halves? Uhhh, thanks... but no thanks.
Are they sure those rolls came from the guy that orders at other banks and dumps there? If not I would get them and go through them. All it will cost you is a little time. You never know it might be part of Grandpa's coin collection!!
COPPER - the "poormans" precious metal!!!
SELLING - $100.00 face copper shipped to you for $189.00 machine rolled or bagged - PM me if your interested.
You could be right ND... but unfortunately my first message was poorly worded. What I meant to write was that they said the rolls came from another customer who brought them in after buying them from another bank. I think we all know the only type of people who do that, now right?
yeah, the only reason I opened an account there in the first place was that Wamu gave me $100 to open it... but then they got taken over by Chase when they went under
