I think the answer is to make things as inconspicuous and inconvenient as possible for thieves:
I still vote hiding your PMs in the flowerbeds and gardens about 2-4 feet deep.
I wish I had enough to get some oil at the moment. I bet with this spill, the shutdowns, and the resulting environmental taxes and issues from the spill, I just bet oil is going to skyrocket.
