Yesterday, following the coin show in Sarasota, we happened to go to a farmer's market. When reading a label of a jarred product it stated in bold letters -- All Natural - No Preservatives. That caught my eye thinking it might be something I could eat on this dietary change I have made for health reasons.
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
It actually listed MSG spelled out as well as a few other "key" words that normally indicate MSG.
This morning I did an internet search and learned that MSG is considered NOT to be a preservative and it IS considered to be a natural substance.
BUT, it can be so harmful to so many people. Many times without them even realizing its effects for some time.
So, please read all labels, especially if this is a food item you are going to stockpile for your family for the future and/or emergencies.

| Yes, I have read a few on Dr. Joseph Mercola's blog that states this MSG is a silent killer, worse that alcohol and nicotine. Some studies also states that the food we eat nowadays are not merely good for us, some foods have poisons in which may not harmed us on the spot but will silently kill us not knowing what was the real reason yet the doctor may state some reason about it. Best way to prevent this one is praying, it helps a lot |

We were at our local pharmacy on Friday getting our medications and I was talking with our pharmacist (we have known him for over 23 years and he was also a customer of ours when we had our tackle store) about what I had learned with my recent dietary changes and how quickly I got relief from inflammation (sinuses included) by abstaining from certain foods as I know his daughter also has food intolerance.
He was telling us that there are many, many thousands of chemicals in our foods and just the tiniest percentage has even been tested by our food people (would that be the FDA?).
Now, that is scary!!! |
