US Treasury introduced a new 100 dollar bill, which is slated to go into circulation early in 2011. The new 100 dollar bill includes a "3D Security Ribbon" and a color-changing inkwell.

Wonder if the old counterfeit detection markers will work (same paper) on this new note or if it needs to come with a new color changing marker in addition to that fancy inkwell? |

I heard they used the same watermark technology on these that they use to make VOID appear on company checks after "x" amount of time, except in reverse.
Just to make it easier on everybody, after six months one of the zeroes drop off and one year later the other one does with "one hundred" first changing to "ten" then "one".
It's supposed to save a TON on printing costs in the future!

Kurr... another idea...we should all just start accepting Zimbabwe currency instead of printing more of our own.
