yesterday i had a roll of pennys , that were not pennies......
i am not sure of the real name for them but, they are the 'tokens' in the mint sets that look like a penny, and say, treasury...... P or d . there were 22 of these. with the other pennies looking like they did indeed come out of mint sets.
with one ,even being an 's' from 2002.

| It sounds like someone broke open quite a few mint sets and deposited them at the bank. If I were you, I would go back and ask for halves, quarters and dimes from the same teller. |

I agree but I would not limit myself to the same teller. |
