yesterday i had a roll of pennys , that were not pennies......
i am not sure of the real name for them but, they are the 'tokens' in the mint sets that look like a penny, and say, treasury...... P or d . there were 22 of these. with the other pennies looking like they did indeed come out of mint sets.
with one ,even being an 's' from 2002.

It sounds like someone broke open quite a few mint sets and deposited them at the bank. If I were you, I would go back and ask for halves, quarters and dimes from the same teller. |

I agree but I would not limit myself to the same teller. |
Selling Ryedale sorted USA cents 1.5 each + shipping over 500fv 1.5 each +1/2 shipping If you pick up 1.35 each located MT/ND boarder. after Ryedale sorting they are hand sorted to remove canadian then rechecked with Ryedale to insure all copper and count out $50 FV then placed in cloth bags and sealed with #1 copper wire. |
