I went to the bank today to deposit my check and withdraw a little money for the coin show this weekend. The teller I usually visit with was busy so I did my buisness with another, and on my way out the door the other teller tells me hey aren't you the one who like's Half dollars. Long story short since you know it has a happy ending or I wouldn't be posting it. Out of 180 coins ($90) there were: 1964-11 1965-5 1966-15 1967-34 1968-36 1969-31 1776-1976-8 (I just like these coins)
Yeah 132 silver coins out of 180. I just picked up a $420 dollar silver hoard for $90 bucks.
And I took pic's to prove it. They are stacked 1964-1969 left to right and the ones inline are the AU coins. The ones on the bottom are clads. The only downfall after spending the $90 my wife said the coinshow is out of the question. Oh well I think I am going to go back Monday and see if the lady took any other coin rolls up there besides the Kennedy's.
The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life. – Theodore Roosevelt
