I see guys posting about NF string boxes, but as far as I can figure out NF string just makes wrapping machines and wrapping paper rolls for coin depot/transfer stations that service the FED.

Linster you are collect. They are a supplier and nothing more. They also dont pull any funny business/rumors like sorting coppers, keeping new coins, etc as much as Brinks.
I personally like these boxes more than Brinks and how the BU's look over the brinks boxes. |

Small pair of needle nose, pinch and twist brother.
Stomps foot
P&T!!!
No for real, the first time I got one of these, it was loaded with wheat, I went back, got a weekly pick up without an account. Have since cancelled my regular PU's and set up an account there for all my coin now. I hit some personal bests this week in those rolls, Dare be golden dem dare strings brotha, gold I tell ya. You like a 20% Wheaties roll with over 80 of them in a box? Funny, my wife wants the paper over the plastic.

That's what I get the most of, as that's what my credit union gets. I find the copper % to be very consistent. However, my best box was a Brinks with the plastic wrappers. Ended up with less than 1 roll that was NOT copper! |
Are you throwing that out? |

Does anyone here get coins from Loomis? What are they like?
Dumb Newbie question: What is a NF string box anyway? I have not learned the lingo yet.
Edit: Well, duh!! I have four NF String boxes sitting beside me right now! All of them have paper wrappers, instead of plastic. |

I prefer plastic for dimes/nickels and I don't really care for pennies. |
