A&M Metals!!
And the first product, from the Fine Metals line, a 1 gram .999 silver bullion bar!
I'd like to thank God for leading me here to learn, and placing this into my hands.
I would also like to thank our very own Market harmony for all the assistance and tremendous service he offers, as well as the membership for all you have taught me.
Now, opinions?

and yes we do plan to expand in sizes offered as well as a Base Metal Line. I currently do not have proper tooling for marking them, but the goal for the aluminum bars now produced is 5lb personal bars and 25-75lb industry standard size bars.
Bars for Fine will probably be produced in grams initially though I would be happy for input, Toz or Grm.
I also think I would prefer to stay in the smaller ranges, because as we know PMs are a hedge so that the banks cannot steal our purchasing power through inflation.
The people who need this the most are the ones that can't afford much. This will put it more into their range. This is "lottery ticket" stuff and perhaps will awaken some to what we know.
Also, perhaps some may be hesitant to give ounces to a smaller child, this makes a perfect gift "all for them", and again provides a way to teach.
It all depends which way I am lead.
Edit: And I should be making some into pendants, earrings and charms soon as well!

| they look great...I figured this was coming soon, cant wait to see more. I like the small idea for the small investor, I think that has some merit...I would like to see the aluminum bars, and even some lead bars.....good luck, cant wait to see some for sale. |

i agree with your thinking of staying with small sizes for those of us that cant afford much. maybe one ouncers coming later?
i like the style of the letters in the logo.
i'd definately be interested in a few of these when theyre ready.

I have a couple of questions on these (or actually any small scale opperation).
How do you know they are .999, did you assay them yourself or do you depend on the input metal being .999?
When you see 1 gram of .999 fine silver does that mean the total weight of the bar is 1 gram or that there is one gram of silver in it + .001 gram of impurities?
How do you get the weight accurate for bars this small? |

1. I obtained my blanks from Market Harmony, who is very trustworthy. There are also a list of felonies probably longer than your arm, both domestic, foreign and international about putting a false stamp to metal.
2. .999 is Fine silver. .925 is Sterling silver. .999 means 999/1000 and sterling is 7.5% impure. Weight is weight of the bars, although mine do tend to show 1.1 on my scale, it is juuuuust a hair over one gram, I think.
3. The accuracy is through mathematics of specific gravity and volume in the design. I weigh each bar several times though out the steps to make them and as stated above, I adjust with my jewelery tools. |

I was thinking of going with little cards like this with the A&M logo at the top, weight, etc, and perhaps "Realcent Distribution" and a number at the bottom, cutting out a place for the bar to go, and laminating it to seal the whole thing.
This way each bar would have a "cert card" and sequence number. And If I just distribute them here, might be a draw one day, or nice token.
