 scrapping 205lbs batteries, did they stiff me?		  Forum Locked

so i took my first trip today to the scrap yard,

i sell scooter parts to diffrent dealers and i noticed on of them had a nice pile of discarded powersports batteries lying around, various sizes but all of them are smaller than car batteries.

anyways i brought in 205lbs worth of batteries and i only got 29.00

is this right?

felt a bit low

Sounds ok. I got .15 a pound last month in So. AZ.

It's been a minute but last time i took a battery to the scrap yard i got 5 for a regular automotive battery and i think atv batteries were getting 2

A good sized car battery gets me about 4 bucks.
Read Atlas Shrugged if you want to know why this country is in the crapper.
