Today I found some forty five uncirculated 1963 pennies in two Brinks boxes! How strange that these sealed boxes would have the same coins in them! But two years ago the same thing happened with about fifty steel pennies in two Federal Reserve boxes. Sorting coins from Federal Reserve is like fishing in the ocean or Great Lakes; you just never know what you will catch!

What happens is someone turns in a solid roll of these beauties at the bank, and then at the local processing center, the roll gets busted open and spreads out amung a pile of common circulated cents as they make their way into the rolling machine and now that solid roll of 1963's gets spread out and rolled up over 100 or more rolls of cents. You just happened to get the two boxes that this 1 roll was spread over.

I recently found about 25 BU 1961D's in a string box. Odd thing was that another person over on treasurenet found a couple or rolls the same week. Hes over 1000 miles away from me.
