I found this available on CL. Is it worth the hassle?

Wish I knew more for ya! It should be Aluminum. Maybe the guy can tell you if a magnet sticks or not. If it is Aluminum I would guess by the size (aprox 10 ' Dia) You would be looking at 60 to 75 lbs in scrap Al. I would call him explaining I am in the scrap business and could get it out for $25.00 to $50.00. He may scoff at ya at first but not to many folks want one of those and you are doing him a favor. Then when you are there look for more scrap metal he may have laying around or he may say so when you talk to him on the phone. It looks easy enough to disassemble with the right tools. Depending how the post is anchored and if you can just cut it off or what not. Also depends how much gas it takes ya to get there and all.

Let me know what happens!

The ones i broke down one was the mesh screen type and the other was solid dish like the one you have. The base is probably steel.

I'm betting you'll find that dish to be fiberglass. Stay away if so.
