Sounds like about the right silver content. They are .720 fine. You paid a little above spot. These coins were issued to commemorate the 1968 Olympics held in Mexico City.
There are actually 3 types of these coins. A Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3. I think the Type to is where the center ring under the guy's foot is lower rather than even with the other top 2 rings and the Type 3 has something to do with the length of the snake's tongue.

The 1968 25 peso Olympic coins do have .5208 oz. ASW and are 72% Ag. Make sure the coin weighs around 22.5 grams and is not attracted to a magnet. I have recently seen some fake ones here in AZ. Otherwise I too like the Mexican silver coins.
