I get my containers from work for free, 2.5 gallon & 5 gallon
plastic chemical containers. I just start this penny hoarding
last month and have 70 lbs so far in a 2.5, it should hold around 100.

Derick, for $5-6 you can buy a new empty 5 gallon bucket from lowes or home depot.

For Optimum Cu cent Storage....use a 55 gallon open head drum....poly or steel doesn't matter....for the amount of storage it takes very little square footage but make sure you park it where it can remain for a very long time....once full it could be pushing 1000 lbs. My barrel o pennies is getting fuller

"Be Nice to BankTellers"

I just noticed on Ulines website that the 4 gallon square pals have a weight capacity of 36 lbs. $50 in pennies will weigh about 30 lbs, so doesn't the handle break? Also when they are almost full (or even half way full) are they heavy and hard to handle?

Thanks for your help
